Prices

Carol's drawings are available in three sizes: 8X10, 11X14 and 12X19. These sizes refer to
the size of the paper on which the pastel drawing is made. The actual portrait size
depends on the size and type of the animal and the number of animals in the portrait.
For an additional animal in the same portrait please add $100 to the purchase price below.

Framing is an additional $25.00 to $35.00, based upon size. Matting is included with each
portrait.

Procedures

After you have made your payment through PayPal, please submit the below information
with photos of your companion animal(s). We also accept bank cashiers' checks and
money orders mailed to the address below.

When you send in your order, please include the following information:

Your Complete Name and Mailing Address
Telephone
Email Address
Name and Type of Companion Animal
Special Characteristics of your Companion Animal

Please also include several photographs of your companion animal, preferably facing the
camera directly. Please see photo tips below. All photos will be returned with the
completed portrait. However, we recommend you make copies of the photos you send
us. We cannot be responsible for loss of your photos by the Post Office or courier
services. Please make sure you mark your package clearly "DO NOT FOLD" when you do
send photos.

Photo Tips

Please send several clear photos of your companion animal, particularly photos that
show your companion animal's personality and expression. Some tips in selecting
photos:

photos that primarily focus on your companion animal (and not the scenery) are the best
photos taken at eye-level and close range, showing detail and color, provide more detail for the portrait
close-ups of faces, eyes and expressions will create a better portrait - the more detail the better
photos that show your companion animal's personality will allow the portrait to better reflect your animal
photographs taken in natural light without a flash and not in direct sunlight, which can wash out colors
are best
contrasting backgrounds such as a light colored background for a black furred animal provide clarity or
a dark background for a white furred animal; the more detail the better for dark colored animals

Indicate which of the photos best reflects your animal's personality and color.

All photographs will be returned with your finished artwork.

General Terms

Delivery time will be approximately 3-8 weeks. Please order early for holidays
since this is a very busy time of year.
